About the project

The IAIA project will create and validate open-access learning and teaching resources for the incorporation of artificial intelligence (AI), art, and design into inclusive education.

Why?

There’s a lack of accessible, creative and inclusive learning material on AI.

Teachers/educators feel insecure about how to implement AI (it might undermine their role; they don’t have up-to-date information…)

Objectives

Encourage students’ interest in STEAM, especially enhancing the skills of generating and proposing new ideas from the creative combination of technology, technique and scientific knowledge.

Increase the use of digital tools and AI in secondary schools.

Develop creative interdisciplinary learning resources for inclusive learning.

Help teachers and educators understand the potential of AI in education in combination with art and design, and how to make effective and ethical use of AI and new technologies to support socio-cultural inclusiveness.

Stimulate collaboration between schools, businesses, and higher education institutions

What will we do?

Develop multi-lingual open-access multimedia learning and teacher resources for secondary school students, teachers and other educators on the topic of AI, art, design and inclusive education.

Implement workshops with 80-100 students, at 4 schools in 2 countries

Organize 2 multiplier events with 60 participants.
